The original company established in 1956 in the heart of the ship and boat building sector in the Golden Horn, Istanbul, has long been a driving force behind the Turkish marine industry with its ship and yacht chandelling services. In 1986 the company’s headquarters moved to Tuzla which has become one of the main megayacht building areas in the world since 1990’s. During these boom years our company initiated many producers’ products to enter the Turkish marine market. The services provided to the marine sector by our company has been growing and diversifying ever since. In 1966 the third generation of the family started a separate, independant boat construction company.

Since then over 450 boats have been built and they are sailing all around the world mainly in Turkey, Holland, England, USA, Australia, Germany, Greece, Canada, France . With the 21st century the company has changed its name to Moonday Yachtsand is managed by the third generation of the family and its english partners who joined in 2012. The model range has been progressively expanded and in 2016 moved into a new purpose built factory. The company’s profile is currently being expanded to include a UK office.
